پاکستان کی قومی ایئر لائن پی آئی اے نے 5 سال بعد برطانیہ کے لیے پروازیں شروع کرنے کے منصوبے کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے عندیہ دیا ہے کہ اکتوبر میں برطانیہ کے لیے آپریشن شروع ہو سکتے ہیں۔
سوشل میڈیا پلیٹ فارم ’ایکس‘ پر ایک بیان میں پی آئی اے نے کہا ہے. کہ برطانیہ سے ’ٹی سی او‘ سرٹیفیکیشن مل چکی ہے اور اگلے ماہ سے برطانیہ کے لیے. آپریشن کا آغاز کرنے کی تیاری جاری ہے۔
یاد رہے کہ برطانیہ نے جولائی میں پاکستانی ایئرلائنز کے ملک میں داخلے پر عائد پابندی ختم کر دی تھی۔ اس وقت پاکستان میں برطانوی ہائی کمیشن کی جانب سے جاری بیان میں کہا گیا تھا. کہ پاکستان کا نام برطانیہ کی ایئر سیفٹی لسٹ سے حذف کر دیا گیا ہے. اور اب پاکستانی ایئرلائنز برطانیہ میں فلائٹ آپریشن شروع کرنے کے لیے. اپلائی کر سکتی ہے۔
یاد رہے برطانیہ اور یورپی ایوی ایشن حکام نے جولائی 2020 میں پاکستانی ایئرلائنز پر پابندی عائد کی تھی. تاہم لگ بھگ ساڑھے چار سال کی پابندی کے بعد 29 نومبر 2024 کو یورپین یونین ایئر سیفٹی ایجنسی (ای اے ایس اے) نے پاکستان کی قومی ایئر لائن (پی آئی اے) سمیت نجی فضائی کمپنیوں پر یورپ میں فلائٹ آپریشن پر عائد پابندی کے خاتمے کا اعلان کیا تھا۔
ایئر سیفٹی کے اقدامات
جولائی میں برطانوی ہائی کمشن کی طرف سے جاری بیان میں کہا گیا تھا. کہ ’ایئر سیفٹی کے اقدامات میں بہتری کے بعد برطانیہ نے پاکستانی ایئرلائنز پر سے عائد پابندی کو ہٹا دیا تاہم اب بھی ہر ایئرلائن کو برطانیہ کی سول ایوی ایشن اتھارٹی سے برطانیہ میں آپریٹ کرنے کی اجازت طلب کرنا ہو گی۔‘
اس وقت پاکستان میں برطانوی ہائی کمشنر جین میریٹ کا کہنا تھا کہ ’میں بین الاقوامی حفاظتی معیار کو بہتر بنانے کے لیے برطانیہ اور پاکستان کے ایوی ایشن ماہرین کے ساتھ مل کر کام کرنے پر ان کی شکرگزار ہوں۔‘
ان کا مزید کہنا تھا کہ ’فلائٹس کی بحالی میں اب بھی کچھ وقت لگے گا. لیکن میں برطانیہ میں اپنے خاندان اور دوستوں سے جا کر ملنے کے لیے پاکستانی ایئرلائن میں سفر کرنے کی منتظر ہوں۔‘
