سندھ پولیس کے انسدادِ دہشت گردی کے شعبے (سی ٹی ڈی) کو بین الاقوامی طرز پر اپ گریڈ کرنے کے لیے 3 ارب روپے کے منصوبے پر کام شروع کر دیا گیا ہے۔ جس کا پہلا مرحلہ 3 ماہ میں مکمل ہو جائے گا۔

انسپکٹر جنرل (آئی جی) سندھ پولیس علام نبی میمن نے ’جنگ‘ سے گفتگو کرتے ہوئے بتایا کہ کاؤنٹر ٹیرر ازم ڈیپارٹمنٹ سندھ کو بین الاقوامی اور جدید طرز پر اپ گریڈ کرنے کے لیے حکومتِ سندھ نے 3 ارب روپے کے فنڈز کی منظوری دے دی ہے۔

انہوں نے بتایا کہ اس اہم منصوبے پر فوری کام شروع کر دیا گیا ہے۔ جس کے تحت پہلے مرحلے میں سی ٹی ڈی کے انفارمیشن ٹیکنالوجی کے شعبے کو محفوظ اور بین الاقوامی اداروں کے ہم آہنگ بنانے کے لیے جدید ترین سافٹ ویئر خریدے جا رہے ہیں۔

غلام نبی میمن کے مطابق سی ٹی ڈی سندھ کے لیے ماہر آئی ٹی انجینئر رکھے جا رہے ہیں۔ اس کے ساتھ ہی سی ٹی ڈی کے افسران کی۔ فول پروف سیکیورٹی۔ کے پیشِ نظر بُلٹ پروف گاڑیاں خریدی جا رہی ہیں۔

آئی جی سندھ غلام نبی میمن نے یہ بھی بتایا ہے۔ کہ اس سلسلے میں بہت حد تک کام ہو چکا ہے، مزید پیش رفت بھی تیزی سے جاری ہے۔
