افریقی ملک موزمبیق کے ساحل کے قریب کئی ماہ سے ایل پی جی گیس سے لدے. ’گیس فالکن‘ نامی جہاز پر لدے کارگو (سامان) کی منزل ویسے تو زمبابوے تھی. تاہم اس جہاز کو موزمبیق کے حکام نے ساحلی شہر بیئرا کے قریب اپنی تحویل میں لے لیا گیا تھا۔
اگرچہ موزمبیق کی عدالتوں نے گیس فالکن کو مالی بے ضابطگیوں کے الزامات پر روکنے کا حکم دیا تھا تاہم اس پر موجود پاکستانی اور انڈونیشیئن عملے نے اپنے اپنے ممالک سے اپیل کی ہے. کہ وہ نہ صرف اس بحری جہاز سے اترنے میں بلکہ تنخواہیں دلانے میں بھی ان کی مدد کریں۔
جہاز پر انڈونیشیئن عملے کے رکن آندری پیلندینو کا کہنا ہے. کہ ‘ہم محنت مزدوری اور اپنے خاندان کی کفالت کے لیے ملازمتیں کرتے ہیں۔ ہمارے گھروں میں چھ ماہ سے تنخواہ نہیں گئیں۔ جہاز پر ایئر کنڈیشنر خراب ہے۔ انتہائی بُرے حالات میں، انتہائی گرمی کے دن گزارے ہیں۔ پہلے کم یا زیادہ خوراک تو مل جاتی تھی۔ مگر اب حالات بہت خراب ہوچکے ہیں۔’
ہمارا حوصلہ
جہاز کے پاکستانی کپتان محمد اسلم کہتے ہیں کہ ‘ہمارا حوصلہ جواب دے چکا ہے۔ اب ہمیں مدد چاہیے اور یہ مدد جلد چاہیے۔’
پاکستانی میں بحری امور کی وزارت کے ترجمان کے مطابق پاکستان کے وفاقی وزیر برائے بحری امور محمد جنید انور چوہدری نے واقعے کا نوٹس لیتے ہوئے. موزمبیق میں پھنسے پاکستانیوں کی فوری مدد کی ہدایت کی ہے۔
ترجمان کی جانب سے 18 جولائی کو جاری بیان کے مطابق ڈی جی پورٹس اور شپنگ نے کپتان محمد اسلم سے رابطہ کیا ہے اور موزمبیق حکومت سے رابطہ کر کے ضروری کارروائی مکمل کی جا رہی ہے اور اس سلسلے میں پاکستانی وزارتِ خارجہ سے ضروری مدد لی جا رہی ہے۔
تاحال پاکستانی وزارتِ خارجہ نے بی بی سی کی جانب سے کیے گئے. سوالات پر کوئی جواب نہیں دیا ہے اور موزمبیق میں پاکستانی سفارت خانہ بھی موجود نہیں ہے۔
