اسٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان (ایس بی پی) کے مطابق مئی 2023 میں کرنٹ اکاؤنٹ سرپلس 25 کروڑ 50 لاکھ ڈالر رہا۔
ایس بی پی اعلامیے کے مطابق رواں مالی سال کے 11 مہینوں کا کرنٹ اکاؤنٹ خسارہ 2.9 ارب ڈالر رہا. جبکہ گزشتہ مالی سال 11 ماہ کا کرنٹ اکاؤنٹ خسارہ 15 ارب ڈالر سے زائد تھا۔
مرکزی بینک کے مطابق مئی کا کرنٹ اکاؤنٹ سرپلس برآمدات بڑھنے سے ہے۔
اسٹیٹ بینک کا کہنا ہے کہ 11 ماہ میں درآمدات 16 ارب ڈالر کم کرکے کرنٹ اکاؤنٹ خسارہ کم کیا گیا۔
گزشتہ برس 11 ماہ میں درآمدات 64 ارب کی تھیں، اس سال 48 ارب ڈالر رہیں۔
اسٹیٹ بینک کے مطابق رواں سال ورکرز ترسیلات 3.6 ارب ڈالرز کم ہو کر 24.84 ارب ڈالر رہیں۔
