سنگاپور کے بڑے بینک ڈی بی ایس نے تقریبا چار ہزار اسامیاں ختم کرنے کا اعلان کرتے ہوئے کہا ہے. کہ اب یہ کام ملازمین کے بجائے بڑی حد. تک مصنوعی ذہانت (اے آئی) سے لیا جا رہا ہے۔
برطانوی نشریاتی ادارے بی بی سی میں شائع رپورٹ کے مطابق ڈیویلپمنٹ بینک آف سنگاپور(ڈی بی ایس)کے ترجمان نے بتایا کہ ممکنہ طور پر آئندہ تین برسوں میں عارضی. اور کنٹریکٹ ملازمین کی 4 ہزار اسامیاں ختم کر دی جائیں گی۔
ان کا مزید کہنا تھا. کہ بینک کے مستقل ملازمین اس فیصلے سے متاثر نہیں ہو ں گے۔
یہ فیصلہ ڈی بی ایس کو ان اولین بڑے بینکوں میں سے ایک بنادے گا.جو اس حوالے سے تفصیلات پیش کرے گا کہ اے آئی ٹیکنالوجی اس کے آپریشنز کس طرح متاثر کرے گی۔
بینک کے چیف ایگزیکٹیو پیوش گپتا کا کہنا ہے.کہ اس بات کا بھی امکان ہے. کہ بینک میں مصنوعی ذہانت سے متعلق نئی ملازمتیں پیدا ہوں۔
مصنوعی ذہانت
ڈی بی ایس کے ترجمان نے کہا کہ اگلے تین سالوں میں، ہمارا خیال ہے. کہ مصنوعی ذہانت مخصوص منصوبوں پر کام کرنے والی ہماری 19 مارکیٹوں میں تقریباً 4 ہزار عارضی یا کنٹریکٹ اسٹاف کی ضرورت کم کر سکتی ہے۔
اس وقت ڈی بی ایس کے ملازمین کی تعداد تقریباً 41 ہزار ہے، جن میں سے 8 سے 9 ہزار ملازمین عارضی بنیادوں پر کام کر رہے ہیں۔
بینک کے چیف ایگزیکٹو نے گزشتہ سال ایک بیان میں کہا تھا. کہ ان کا یہ بینک ایک عشرے سے مصنوعی ذہانت پر کام کر رہا تھا۔
ان کا کہنا تھا کہ آج ہم نے 350 جگہوں پر اے آئی. کے 800 ماڈل تعینات کر دیئے ہیں۔
آئی ایم ایف نے گزشتہ برس اے آئی کی. وجہ سے تقریباً 40 فیصد ملازمین کے بےروزگار ہونے کا خدشہ ظاہر کیا تھا۔
