یہ کمیٹی ملک میں پیٹرولیم مصنوعات کی فروخت کے لیے نقد رقم کی بجائے کارڈ کے. ذریعے یا آن لائن ادائیگی کی حوصلہ افزائی کو یقینی بنانے. کے سلسلے میں اپنی سفارشات پیش کرے گی۔
اس کمیٹی سے منسلک ممبران کا کہنا ہے. کہ حکومت کا اس اقدام کا مقصد پاکستان میں کیش. اکانومی کی حوصلہ شکنی کر کے دستاویزی معیشت کو فروغ دینا ہے۔
حکام کے مطابق پاکستان میں کیش ادائیگی کے بجائے ڈیجیٹیل ادائیگی کے حوالے سے پہلے سے کام جاری ہے. اور اس ضمن میں ڈیجیٹل ادائیگی کرنے. والے صارفین کو مراعات دینے پر بھی کام ہو رہا ہے۔

حکومت کی جانب سے جاری کردہ نوٹیفکیشن کے مطابق یہ کمیٹی وزیر خزانہ محمد اورنگزیب کی ہدایت پر قائم کی گئی. اور اس کی سربراہی چیف ڈیجیٹل آفیسر شرجیل مرتضیٰ کریں گے۔
کمیٹی میں ایف بی آر میں ڈیجیٹل اصلاحات کے مشیر علی جان خان اور فیڈرل بورڈ آف ریونیو، آئل اینڈ گیس ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی، آئل کمپنیز ایڈوائزری کونسل اور سٹیٹ بینک آف پاکستان کے سینیئر نمائندے شامل ہیں۔
’کرنداز پاکستان‘ اس کمیٹی کو تکنیکی اور سیکریٹریٹ معاونت فراہم کرے گا اور ایک حتمی تجویز ایف بی آر اور وزارت خزانہ کو پیش کرے گا۔
