حکومت نے پیر کے روز پٹرول کی قیمت میں 35 پیسے کمی جبکہ ہائی اسپیڈ ڈیزل کی قیمت میں 5.71 روپے اضافہ کر دیا ہے۔ یہ فیصلہ عالمی قیمتوں میں ہونے والی اتار چڑھاؤ کا اثر عوام تک منتقل کرنے کے لیے کیا گیا ہے، جو خلیج فارس میں دوبارہ شروع ہونے والی علاقائی کشیدگی کے بعد سامنے آیا ہے۔
حکومت نے پیر کے روز پٹرول کی قیمت میں 35 پیسے کمی اور ہائی اسپیڈ ڈیزل (ایچ ایس ڈی) کی قیمت میں 5.71 روپے اضافہ کر دیا۔
تجدید شدہ تبدیلیوں کے بعد اب پٹرول کی قیمت 315.80 روپے فی. لیٹر اور ڈیزل کی قیمت 360.06 روپے فی لیٹر ہو گئی ہے۔
پیٹرولیم ڈویژن کی طرف سے جاری کردہ پریس ریلیز میں کہا گیا ہے. کہ نئی قیمتیں 21 جولائی (منگل) سے نافذ العمل ہوں گی۔
ڈیزل کی قیمت اپریل 3 کو ریکارڈ ہونے والے عروج 520.35 روپے سے اب نیچے آ گئی ہے۔ یہ قیمت 28 فروری کو امریکہ-ایران جنگ شروع ہونے کے بعد 281 روپے فی لیٹر سے بڑھنا شروع ہوئی تھی۔
اسی طرح پٹرول کی قیمت مارچ کے پہلے ہفتے میں 266 روپے سے شروع ہو کر 3 اپریل کو 458.41 روپے کے عروج پر پہنچ گئی تھی۔
اس سے قبل پیٹرولیم وزیر علی پرویز ملک نے اعلان کیا تھا. کہ اب عالمی مارکیٹ میں قیمتوں میں ہونے والی اتار چڑھاؤ کے باعث ایندھن کی قیمتیں روزانہ کی بنیاد پر طے کی جائیں گی۔ یہ فیصلہ ایران. اور امریکہ کے درمیان دوبارہ شروع ہونے. والی دشمنی کے بعد کیا گیا ہے۔
جاری تنازع
حکومت مارچ کے اوائل سے ایندھن کی قیمتوں میں ہفتہ وار نظرثانی کا اعلان کر رہی تھی۔ اس کے ساتھ ساتھ مشرق وسطیٰ میں جاری تنازع کے باعث ممکنہ تیل کی سپلائی میں رکاوٹ کے پیش نظر ایندھن. کی بچت کے اقدامات بھی کیے جا رہے تھے۔ اپریل میں وفاقی حکومت نے سبسڈی والے ایندھن کی فراہمی کے لیے ہدف شدہ ریلیف اقدامات کا بھی اعلان کیا تھا۔
پیٹرولیم وزیر نے بتایا کہ کیبنٹ اور وزیراعظم نے فیصلہ کیا ہے کہ اب آئل اینڈ گیس ریگولیٹری اتھارٹی (اوگرا) کو عالمی مارکیٹ کے رجحانات کے مطابق روزانہ ایندھن کی قیمتیں طے کرنے کی ذمہ داری دی جائے گی۔
تاہم آل پاکستان ڈیلرز ایسوسی ایشن نے روزانہ قیمتوں کے فیصلے کو مسترد کر دیا ہے. اور اس ہفتے احتجاجی پروگرام پر غور کرنے کا اعلان کیا ہے۔
پٹرول بنیادی طور پر نجی ٹرانسپورٹ، چھوٹی گاڑیوں، رک شاوں اور. موٹر سائیکلوں میں استعمال ہوتا ہے۔ اس کی قیمت میں تبدیلی کا اثر زیادہ تر درمیانے اور نچلے درمیانے طبقے پر پڑتا ہے۔
