پاکستانی حکام کے مطابق منگل کی شب نو بج کر 21 منٹ پر ریڈار پر طیارہ تیزی سے نیچے آتا ہوا نظر آیا تھا. اور اس کا رُخ اچانک تبدیل ہوتا دیکھا گیا. جس کے بعد کراچی سے تقریباً 155 ناٹیکل میل مغرب میں طیارے سے ریڈار اور مواصلاتی رابطہ منقطع ہو گیا تھا۔
بدھ کو پاکستانی بحریہ کے. ترجمان نے بی بی سی کو بتایا ہے. کہ تلاش کے کام میں نیوی سمیت دیگر ادارے حصہ لے رہے ہیں۔ ترجمان کے مطابق بحریہ کا جہاز پی این ایس ذوالفقار، پی این ایس حنین اور اے ٹی آر طیارہ سرچ اینڈ ریسکیو آپریشن میں شامل ہیں۔
جبکہ پاکستانی فوج کے شعبہ تعلقاتِ عامہ .(آئی ایس پی آر) کے مطابق اس ریسکیو آپریشن میں پاکستانی فضائیہ بھی حصہ لے رہی ہے۔
ترجمان نیوی کے مطابق لاپتہ. طیارے کو بلوچستان. کے ساحلی شہر اورماڑہ کے جنوب میں بحیرۂ عرب میں تلاش کیا جا رہا ہے. انھوں نے کہا کہ اس وقت سمندر میں شدید طغیانی ہے. جس کی وجہ سے ریسکیو آپریشن میں مشکلات سامنے آ رہی ہیں۔
