ممبئی میں ایک بزرگ خاتون صرف ایک لیٹر دودھ آن لائن منگوانے پر اپنی زندگی بھر کی جمع پونجی 18 لاکھ بھارتی روپے سے محروم ہوگئی۔

بھارتی نشریاتی ادارے. ’این ڈی ٹی وی‘ کے مطابق ممبئی کے علاقے واڈالا کی رہائشی 71 سالہ خاتون کو 4 اگست کو ایک شخص نے فون کیا جس نے خود کو ایک ڈیری کمپنی کا ملازم ظاہر کیا۔

مذکورہ شخص نے خاتون کو ایک لنک بھیجا اور کہا کہ آرڈر مکمل کرنے کے لیے. ذاتی اور بینک کی تفصیلات درج کریں، ملزم ایک گھنٹے سے زائد وقت تک فون پر رابطے میں رہا. اور انہیں مرحلہ وار ہدایات دیتا رہا۔

تحقیقاتی حکام کا کہنا ہے کہ اگلے روز بھی ملزم نے دوبارہ فون کر کے مزید معلومات حاصل کرنے کی کوشش کی، چند دن بعد جب متاثرہ خاتون معمول کے مطابق اپنے بینک گئیں. تو انہیں معلوم ہوا. کہ ان کے اکاؤنٹ سے بھاری رقم نکالی جاچکی ہے۔

بینک اکاؤنٹس بھی خالی

پولیس کے مطابق خاتون کی شکایت کے بعد مزید چھان بین. سے پتا چلا کہ خاتون کے دو دیگر بینک اکاؤنٹس بھی خالی ہوچکے ہیں اور وہ اپنی تمام جمع پونجی سے محروم ہوچکی ہیں۔

پولیس رپورٹ کے. مطابق فراڈ کرنے والے نے بھیجے گئے. لنک کے ذریعے خاتون کے فون کا ریموٹ کنٹرول حاصل کر لیا، جس کے نتیجے میں. اسے بینکنگ ایپس تک بھی رسائی مل گئی۔

پولیس کا کہنا ہے. کہ متاثرہ خاتون نے سرکاری طور پر شکایت درج کرا دی ہے، جب کہ ملزم کی تلاش بھی جاری ہے جو تاحال مفرور ہے۔
