قومی اسمبلی کی قائمہ کمیٹی برائے داخلہ کے اجلاس میں بدھ کو انکشاف کیا گیا کہ وفاقی دارالحکومت کی ایک یونیورسٹی میں ٹیکسی ڈرائیور وٹس ایپ گروپوں کے ذریعے منشیات فروخت کرتا رہا جسے بعد میں گرفتار کر لیا گیا۔
تعلیمی اداروں میں منشیات کے معاملے پر قائمہ کمیٹی کے اجلاس میں غور کیا گیا جس میں انسداد منشیات فورس (اے این ایف) کے عہدیدار بھی شریک تھے۔
ملک کے تعلیمی اداروں میں مبینہ طور پر منشیات کے بڑھتے ہوئے استعمال پر حکومت کی طرف سے تشویش کا اظہار کیا جاتا رہا ہے. اور اس کی روک تھام کے لیے. کارروائیاں بھی کی جاتی رہی ہیں۔
نئی نسل کو منشیات سے بچانے کے قومی مشن کے تحت حکومت نے گذشتہ سال فیصلہ کیا تھا. کہ نیشنل ڈرگ سروے کرایا جائے جس پر کام جاری ہے. اور اس سروے میں ملک بھر میں منشیات استعمال کرنے والے افراد کا ڈیٹا اکٹھا کیا جائے گا۔
منشیات کے آرڈرز
قائمہ کمیٹی کے چیئرمین خرم نواز نے اجلاس کے دوران بتایا کہ ’اسلام آباد کی ایک یونیورسٹی میں ٹیکسی ڈرائیور طلبا طالبات کو وٹس ایپ کے ذریعے منشیات کے آرڈرز لیتا تھا۔ ایک سٹوڈنٹ کی شکایت پر ٹیکسی ڈرائیور کو بھی پکڑا گیا. اور اس سے خریدنے والے طلبا و طالبات کے والدین کو بھی بتایا گیا۔‘
تاہم اجلاس میں کسی یونیورسٹی کا نام نہیں لیا گیا۔
تعلیمی اداروں میں منشیات کے استعمال سے متعلق رکن کمیٹی شرمیلہ فاروقی کے بل پر بحث ہوئی. جس میں مدعا اٹھایا گیا. کہ ’اسلام آباد کے سکول کالج اور یونیورسٹیوں میں ڈرگ مل رہی ہے۔
