انڈیا میں ریلوے حکام نے ایک مال بردار ٹرین کے بغیر ڈرائیور 70 کلومیٹر سے زیادہ سفر کرنے کے معاملے پر تحقیقات کا حکم دیا ہے۔
سوشل میڈیا پر شیئر کی گئی ویڈیوز میں ڈرائیور کے بغیر ایک تیز رفتار ٹرین کو کئی ریلوے سٹیشنوں سے انتہائی تیزرفتاری سے گزرتے ہوئے دکھایا گیا ہے۔
رپورٹس میں بتایا گیا ہے کہ یہ مال بردار ٹرین اتوار کو جموں و کشمیر کے علاقے. ’کٹھوعہ‘ سے پنجاب کے ضلع ہوشیار پور تک بغیر ڈرائیور چلتی رہی تھی۔
ریلوے حکام کا کہنا ہے. کہ وہ بمشکل اس ٹرین کو روکنے میں کامیاب ہوئے. اور اس دوران کسی قسم کا کوئی نقصان نہیں پہنچا۔
ریلوے حکام نے سرکاری نیوز ایجنسی پریس ٹرسٹ آف انڈیا (پی ٹی آئی) کو بتایا کہ یہ واقعہ مقامی وقت کے مطابق شام سات بج کر 25 منٹ سے رات نو بجے کے درمیان پیش آیا۔
اس ٹرین سے 53 مال بردار بوگیاں منسلک تھیں، جن میں پتھر اور چپس لدے ہوئے تھے، اور یہ سامان جموں کشمیر سے پنجاب لے جایا جا رہا تھا۔ حکام کے مطابق کٹھوعہ کے مقام پر ایک سٹیشن پر یہ عملے کی تبدیلی کے لیے. رُکی اور اس میں سوار ڈرائیور اور دیگر عملہ اس سے اُتر گیا۔ تاہم اسی اثنا میں یہ ریل ڈھلوان پر خودبخود سرکنے لگی اور اس نے رفتار پکڑ لی۔
تقریباً 100 کلومیٹر فی گھنٹہ
ٹرین تقریباً 100 کلومیٹر فی گھنٹہ کی رفتار سے آگے. بڑھی اور اُس کے رُکنے سے قبل تقریباً پانچ سٹیشن عبور کرنے میں کامیاب ہو گئی۔
چلتی ٹرین کے بارے میں اطلاع موصول ہونے کے بعد اہلکاروں نے اس کے راستے میں موجود ریلوے پھاٹکوں کو بند کر دیا۔
ریلوے حکام نے پی ٹی آئی کو بتایا کہ ’ریل کو اُس وقت کامیابی سے روک گیا. جب ریلوے اہلکاروں نے ٹرین کو روکنے کے لیے پٹریوں پر لکڑی کے بلاک لگائے۔‘
لکڑی کے بلاکس نے ٹرین کی رفتار کو کم کرنے میں مدد کی۔
حکام نے پی ٹی آئی کو مزید بتایا کہ وہ ٹرین کے کٹھوعہ میں ایک دفعہ رُکنے کے بعد اس کے دوبارہ حرکت میں آنے. کی صحیح وجہ کا تعین کرنے کی کوشش کر رہے ہیں. تاکہ مستقبل میں اس طرح کے واقعات سے بچا جا سکے۔
