ماہرین کے مطابق موسمیاتی تبدیلی میں ایئر کنڈیشنرز سے نکلنے والی گیس کا بہت بڑا ہاتھ ہے۔ اگر ایئر کنڈیشنرز گھاٹے کا سودہ ہیں تو گھروں کو ٹھنڈا کرنے کا اور کیا راستہ رہ جاتا ہے؟

جب ہمارے پاس بجلی کے پنکھے، کولر اور ایئر کنڈیشنر نہیں تھے تب ہوا کے گزر کو دھیان میں رکھ کر عمارتوں کو تعمیر کیا جاتا تھا۔

کیلیفورنیا اکیڈمی آف سائنس کی بلڈنگ ڈیزائن کرنے والے ڈیزائنر ایلسڈائر میک گریگر نے بتایا کہ عمارت کا ڈیزائن ایک تجربہ تھا۔ اس تجربے کے ذریعے یہ جاننے کی کوشش کی گئی کہ ایئر کنڈیشنرز کے بغیر کس حد تک گزارا کیا جا سکتا ہے۔

تبخیر کا عمل چیزوں کو ٹھندا کرنے میں پر اثر ثابت ہوتا ہے۔ اسی لیے گرمی میں جسم سے نکلنے والا پسینا بھی جسم کو ٹھنڈا رکھتا ہے۔

سپین کے متعدد علاقوں میں مٹی کے بڑے بڑے گھڑوں میں پانی بھر کر رکھ دیا جاتا ہے، جنہیں ’بوتیجو‘ کہتے ہیں۔

گھڑے کی مٹی ایک بار پانی جزب کرنے کے بعد اس کے اندر رکھے پانی کو ٹھنڈا رکھتی ہے۔

اسی طریقے کو عمارتوں کے نقشے بنانے میں بھی استعمال کیا جا سکتا ہے۔

جب ہوا ٹھنڈے گھڑوں سے ٹکراتی ہے تو خود بھی ٹھنڈی ہو جاتی ہے۔
